Biography
From Memoirs of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:
JOSIAH S. DUFF, one of the leading physicians of Allegheny city, Pa., and representative of the first ward in the common council, was born in Belmont county, Ohio, in 1855. His parents, Thomas and Margaret Duff, have both joined the silent majority, the former passing away in 1875, and the latter in 1888.
